OLD WORLD VILLAGE PARTNERS WITH THE JOHNNY O FOUNDATION TO BRING FARMERS MARKET FUN AND MUCH MORE TO THE OC
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (March 20, 2018) – Old World Huntington Beach is partnering with the Johnny O Foundation to host its monthly Johnny O Show, opening the weekend of April 7 & 8, 2018. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm both days and admission is FREE.
Attendees can explore a bountiful Farmer’s Market for locally produced goods or stop by one of the arts and crafts booths for some creative fun and inspiration. Car enthusiasts will enjoy the Classic Car Show and there will be live music for anyone who wants to dance or simply listen and relax.
Old World Restaurant will be open and serving their traditional German cuisine and imported beers on tap. Old World’s famous Weiner Dog Races will be held on Sunday, April 8 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The Johnny O Show will continue to be held on the first weekend of every month throughout the year. All proceeds from the shows will go to the Johnny O Foundation which helps fund research and raise awareness for cognitive impairment diseases.

The Johnny O Foundation works to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Traumatic Brain Injury and has spent the last twelve years raising funds for cognitive impairment research. The foundation has partnered with doctors, researchers and universities to fund vital medical research into a cure for many cognitive diseases. What began as a promise to his family after the loss of both of his parents to cognitive diseases, has evolved into what is now The Johnny O Alzheimer’s and Dementia Awareness Foundation.
